The AdRescue Guide to Better Video Ads — how to properly shoot video on your phone.

Version 2026-08-v2

Terms of Service

Plain-language terms covering AdRescue editing projects. Read them before you accept at onboarding.

1. What AdRescue provides

AdRescue is a managed marketplace for vertical video editing. We accept footage and a creative brief from you, match the project to a vetted independent editor, manage the schedule and quality review, and deliver a finished 9:16 video file.

AdRescue provides editing services only. We do not publish, distribute, boost, or manage advertising campaigns on your behalf, and we do not connect to your advertising or social accounts.

2. What we do not promise

We make no guarantee of leads, sales, bookings, views, engagement, reach, or any other commercial outcome. Performance depends on your offer, market, targeting, budget and timing, none of which we control.

We make no guarantee that any platform will approve, distribute, or continue to host your video. Moderation and distribution decisions belong to those platforms alone.

Turnaround times shown on packages are typical targets that begin once your brief and footage are complete. They are not contractual deadlines.

3. Your content and rights

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use all footage, images, audio, music, trademarks, logos and other material you submit, and that any identifiable person appearing in your footage has consented to its use in advertising.

You retain ownership of your source material. On delivery, you own the finished edit produced from it.

You grant AdRescue and the assigned editor a limited licence to store, process and edit your material for the sole purpose of completing your project.

You also grant AdRescue a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the finished ad we deliver to you — in whole or in excerpt — in our own portfolio, case studies, showreels, website and social channels, together with your business name and industry. This covers the delivered edit only, not your unused raw footage, and never your private brief details, pricing or internal notes. Tell us in writing at hello@getadrescue.com and we will exclude your work from showcase use and remove it from anything we control going forward.

You must not submit material that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or that makes claims you cannot substantiate.

4. Briefs, footage and cooperation

Work begins when your brief and usable footage are both complete. If footage is missing, unusable, or materially different from the brief, we will contact you and the project will wait until it is resolved.

Projects left without a customer response for an extended period may be closed. We will attempt to reach you before doing so.

5. Revisions

Each package includes one revision round. A revision round means a single consolidated set of notes applied to the delivered cut, submitted through your order page.

Requests that change the concept, the offer, the footage supplied, or the agreed scope are new work rather than revisions, and may require a new order or an additional charge quoted to you in advance.

Additional revision rounds may be purchased as an optional add-on.

6. Pricing and payment

Package prices are one-time charges shown before payment. Optional add-ons are shown at checkout and are never pre-selected.

Custom projects are quoted before any payment is taken.

Payment is required before a project is routed to an editor, except where we have agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel before your project is assigned to an editor for a full refund.

Once editing has begun, refunds are assessed case by case against the work completed. If we cannot deliver a usable edit from the material supplied, we will refund you.

Dissatisfaction with creative choices is addressed first through the included revision round.

7a. On-time guarantee

Every paid project is given a promised delivery time before it is routed to an editor. That time is shown on your project page and is based on the package you bought, including any rush add-on.

The clock starts when payment is confirmed and usable footage has been received. If your footage fails our Preflight check and we send it back, the clock is paused until replacement footage is supplied.

If we deliver your first cut after the promised time for reasons within our control, your next ad is on us: the full value of the late order is credited to your account and applied automatically to your next project.

The guarantee covers our delivery time only. It is not a guarantee of ad performance, platform approval, or of a specific creative outcome. It does not apply where delivery is delayed by missing footage, unanswered questions, or changes you request after the brief is submitted.

Published on-time and turnaround figures are calculated automatically from completed orders and are shown only once we have a meaningful sample.

8. Editors and reviewers

Editors are independent specialists screened by AdRescue. Assignment is managed by us; you do not select an individual editor, and we may reassign work to protect delivery.

Quality review is performed by someone other than the editor who produced the cut. Review is a craft and brief-compliance check, not a legal or regulatory clearance of your claims.

9. Confidentiality and storage

Your footage and briefs are stored in access-controlled storage and are made available only to the AdRescue team members and assigned personnel who need them to complete your project.

We never sell your content. We do not use your raw footage in our own marketing without your explicit written permission; the finished delivered ad may be shown in our portfolio and case studies under the showcase licence in section 3, which you can opt out of at any time.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use AdRescue to produce content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading about health, financial or legal outcomes, or that impersonates another business or person.

We may decline or stop work on any project that falls outside these limits, and will refund work not yet performed.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdRescue's total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost customers, or platform account actions.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your project is the version you accepted at onboarding, recorded with a timestamp against your account.
