The AdRescue Guide to Better Video Ads — how to properly shoot video on your phone.

Effective August 2026

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who can see your footage, and how to get it deleted.

1. Who we are

AdRescue is a managed vertical video editing service operating from Phoenix, Arizona. This policy explains what we collect when you use getadrescue.com and the AdRescue workspace, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Questions about anything here: hello@getadrescue.com.

2. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the password or Google identity you sign in with.

Business profile details: business name, industry, website, social handles, brand colours, fonts, tone notes and any do/don't guidance you enter.

Project material: the footage, images, audio and reference links you upload, plus the brief you write for each ad.

Order and billing records: packages and add-ons purchased, amounts, payment status and payment references. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach AdRescue servers.

Shoot details for Phoenix shoot days: the address, on-site contact phone number and preferred dates you supply.

Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and basic usage events needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Why we use it

To deliver the service you bought: routing your project to a vetted editor, running quality review, and returning the finished cut.

To communicate with you about your projects — order confirmations, assignment and delivery notices, and questions about missing footage.

To take payment, issue refunds and keep the financial records the law requires.

To keep the service safe: fraud prevention, abuse detection and debugging.

To measure aggregate service quality, such as on-time delivery rates. These figures are calculated from order timestamps and never identify a customer.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your footage in our own marketing without your explicit written permission.

4. Who can see your material

Your footage, brief and brand kit are stored in access-controlled storage. Inside AdRescue they are visible only to the assigned editor, the assigned quality reviewer, the assigned videographer where a shoot is booked, and AdRescue operations staff.

Editors, reviewers and videographers are independent specialists under confidentiality obligations, and their access is limited to the projects assigned to them.

We share data with service providers who make the product work: our cloud hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of AdRescue, our customers or the public.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and equivalent browser storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the workspace secure.

We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which pages are used. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data, and we do not connect to your advertising or social accounts.

6. How long we keep things

Account and business profile data is kept while your account is open.

Source footage is kept for 90 days after delivery so revisions and reorders remain possible, then removed from active storage.

Finished deliverables and order records are kept for as long as we need them for support, tax and accounting obligations — typically seven years for financial records.

You can ask us to delete source footage sooner at any time.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Editing your business profile in the workspace covers most corrections; for anything else, email hello@getadrescue.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes your profile, business profiles, briefs and stored footage. Financial records we are legally required to keep are retained in a minimised form.

If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful bases are contract performance for delivering projects, legitimate interests for security and service improvement, and legal obligation for financial records.

If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to project material is enforced at the database level so an account can only reach its own records, and staff access is scoped by role.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and any regulator required by law without undue delay.

9. Children

AdRescue is a business service and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If a child appears in footage you upload, you confirm you have the consent of their parent or guardian.

10. International transfers

AdRescue operates from the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in your workspace or by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.
